Guests want to go to downtown Bryan Friday night. We want to take them to dinner but would like to try a newer place. I know about Cafe Capri, all of the Mexican restaurants, Ronin, Billie's, RX Pizza and Mr. G's. Curious if there's another place that's mid-priced that maybe I don't know about. TIA!

Proudest Monkey and the Blackwater Draw food truck have great burgers.
Blackwater Draw may have one of the most underrated burgers in town.
I'll add Margie's to the burger list. Another good option downtown.

Not necessarily downtown proper but the Feed Barn is mostly downtown and very good.
Not dinner but if they want breakfast: 3rd on Main and Zeitmann's are solid choices.
Feed Barn is not really downtown, but Longhorn Tavern is.
100% Taco Crave - I wish it didn't take half an hour to get there from south CS, but it's worth the drive.

I love it, but just be warned it's very slow service, especially if it's busy.
and it is a far cry from the German food in Fredericksburg. Tasty but not very genuine IMHO
Live music at Blackwater draw Friday.
Blackwater Draw on Thursdays. $3 or $4 pints. Food truck is very good.

Appreciate all the recommendations! As usual, my wife assigned me the responsibility of picking a place and then proceeded to make reservations at Elia's on her own.
