When was the walking path underneath Wellborn Rd. Connecting WCG to Main campus constructed?

They removed the old pedestrian overpass September 2001 during the construction of the underpass.
So shortly after that.

They call it Pickard Pass.
what a wonderful design, lets have the main exit of people from Kyle plow right into the exit of the parking garage.
People are supposed to walk around the backside of the garage and free up the garage exits. They tried that before and people complained about having to walk an extra 400 feet, so now we have the current system of letting some cars out, then letting some people cross, then repeat.

then why do they have signs telling you to walk forward. also they have another exit to the garage

The intent (and just for this year) is to let people cross over to Lot H. There's no other way to get there. Going to E, you should go around the West Garage. Some do, some don't. And for those who don't, they create a cluster ****.BQ_90 said:agnerd said:

Could just let em cross Wellborn and the tracks. That would be quicker.

if they would set up a lane for that it would be better, but my guess is they are afraid some will try to cross in front of the buses i guess.75AG said:

Used to love walking up this as a kid in the 90's. 
Ah yes....the good old days of campus. Very nostalgic for those times and before. Too crowded now. Getting on east campus around 8am and leaving at 5pm seems worse this semester than any time in the past.Justin2010 said:
