We're looking for someone (or recommendations of someone) who is an owner/operator of their own semi tractor and dry van trailer that does long haul runs. We're based out of College Station and have a growing need for project based hiring of a driver + rig that can pick up our gear in College Station, run it to various places around the country (LA, Las Vegas, Dallas, Indy, etc) for our events at hotels and convention centers, and then back to College Station after the event.
Timeliness is the biggest thing for us. We've been using a driver but he doesn't have a huge desire to be where he's supposed to be exactly on time and that creates issues for us when they are late to an event and we've got local labor waiting.
