Galilee Baptist was a 15-20 min wait and growing this am.

There were 1700+ voters at CSU yesterday. Wowzers. My mom voted at the Brazos County Admin building Tuesday afternoon and had about a 30 minute wait. Husband just voted there and it was 15 minutes.

Insider tip: The CSU field crews start early and leave early, so the parking lot opens up somewhat in the afternoon. So, if you're at CSU later in the day, try to find a parking spot before parking on the long driveway.

Went to Galilee on my lunch break. Got there around 1:15. Line was about 10-12 people long outside. Inside was full. I was only there maybe 15 minutes.

I went to CSU around 9:30 this morning and noped my way out of there real quick

At CSU now. Got here 3:30 and just now got inside the doors

Walked out at 4:10, so 40 minute wait, no bad IMO

According to a post earlier in this thread, early voting was 3 weeks in 2020.

My daughter said they are out at the Graham Rd location as well. Hopefully they restock by Election Day!

Was at the MSC before 8:00 this morning. Done by 8:10.

Voted at graham rd location at 9:40, line was 20-30 mins long… stickers were in hand!!

They need to have more than two early voting locations in College Station. I am glad that they added the MSC, but that should've been an additional location instead of a replacement for CS City Hall. I don't care if it's specifically at City Hall or not, but there should be at least one more in CS. Currently, it's just 1 on-campus, 1 in south CS, and 3 in Bryan. The MSC is great is you're a student or faculty, and they should keep it, but there needs to be another option that's closer than Graham Rd and a shorter line.

I'll be voting on Election Day when there are lots of locations: 28 for the whole county instead of 5 during early voting. On Election Day, they have 13 in CS, 13 in Bryan, 1 in Millican, and 1 in Kurten. There are multiple locations that are only a few minutes away and tend to have short lines.

I thought that at some point they were saying that Texas was going to require more early voting locations, possibly that all the Election Day locations also were going to have to be early voting locations. Does anyone else remember reading that a few years ago? Did the state legislature change their minds or something?

I don't recall seeing that. It would help.

I've voted at the Wellborn Baptist Church and the Wellborn Community Center in the past. They were both good locations and the line moved quickly.

I don't know if they have had any further south.

I did not take a sticker. That must be why I am still getting texts and phone calls from campaigns.

There were about 20 people in line outside at Arena Hall when I voted today about 11:30. Lines moving pretty fast though. They bring 6 inside at a time.

In and out of Galilee in 5 minutes at 9 this morning. Must have hit it just right because there were 10-12 people waiting in line when we left.

When the county was sorting out the City Hall/MSC early vote situation a couple of years ago, it was asked why we can't have both.

IIRC, the response was that voting laws would require the county to have the same # of early vote locations in every county precinct (not including the main vote center at the county admin building).

So when the question was raised of why we can't have two spots in (whatever precinct(s) campus/city hall are in), the response was that we would have to have two spots in the other 3 precincts as well.

And the problem from that was:
1. that some of the county precincts (most notably Pct. 2) don't have two suitable locations for early vote, and
2. it's already a struggle to find enough election workers for two weeks of early voting at 5 spots; staffing 9 locations for two solid weeks would be even more difficult.

Don't quote me on all of this, but that is what I remember reading at the time.

Thanks.That must be what I was thinking of. I think there are more than 5 precincts though; mine has a higher number than that. I wonder why they can't (or won't) add an early voting location for one of the other precincts that currently doesn't have one.

They will validate parking if you vote at the msc.

There are only 4 county precincts (I.e. how they divide the county commissioners and justices of the peace), but many more voting precincts. So on Election Day, each voting precinct will have its own polling place. I think I read there are 28 total polling places on Election Day.

Arena 10:00 am today - parking available - wife in and out in 7 minutes

We got there about 11:30 on Friday morning. Finished in 45 minutes.

For us, it was an acceptable wait for the opportunity/privilege to cast our vote.

Early voting available from 7am to 7pm Monday through Friday this week.
