Has opened! It's over on Wellborn next to Chicken Express.

I had the sausage and gravy kolache for breakfast, and about to heat up the boudin one for lunch. Bread is a little sweeter than I would like, but it is still pretty yummy. They had tons of options to choose from.

I also got cronut donut holes. Not sure how I feel about those, but they certainly weren't bad. It was my first time having a cronut so had no idea what to expect. Their donuts looked yummy too.

Have tried it twice now. First time, sausage link kolache was excellent. Second time, casing was tough and almost inedible. Will give them a third shot for sure. Employee (probably the owner) was super nice.

And for size comparison to other kolaches, the boudin one is huge. The sausage and gravy was not this big, but still decent size.

And the cronut donut holes.

We tried going around 10am on the Saturday of the LSU game. Big mistake. Line was out the door and the display cases were about 85% empty. We left and went to Caminos for breakfast instead. Happy to see them doing well and looking forward to returning when they'll have more options to choose from.

Trackside is also good. It is pretty out of the way for me. But I enjoyed it and will go back.

Correct, that is the only location I have been to. I live over by Lowes/Fitch. So even Karma is out of my way, but is not too far out of the way to go to Consol.

I told my wife on the day that we went that the place was going to be overrun with the "Well, ackchooally, that's not a kolache" crowd.

They should do some kind of viral stunt where if enough people come in and spend at least 5 dollars they'll change the names to the proper Czech names for things

They are 3 minutes away from one another. Can't be that far out of the way.

Karma doesn't have sweet kolaches so last weekend, we went there for savory ones and then Trackside for sweet ones. They are pretty close together.

Like he said, one is easier for him than the other when going to Consol. I can totally see this as well.

If you are just waking up on a Sat morning or something, and don't have to be anywhere, then I can totally see how these are not that far apart.

Ok we have gone too far with the Kolache/Klobasnk (sausage and gravy)...
I feel that we need a few Bierocks stores to balance the eating choices

I struggle eating eggs. I do not like hot dogs, so kolaches that aren't sausage are out. So I get happy when I can get non-breakfast items somewhere. I used to love the chicken breakfast sandwich Burger Mojo had before they took it off the menu.

Ok, I went this morning for the 3rd time. I finally got to try the butter chicken. I love Indian food and I love kolache, but that's just no longer a kolache.

Ok, experiment over. I'm just going back to Trackside from now on.

Kolaches don't contain meat.

In Texas they do.

Nobody knows how to spell or pronounce klobasnik anyway.
