Technically Bryan, but we recently tried Frida's Kitchen and thought the food and service was great.
Our favorite is Another Broken Egg Cafe. Technically a chain, but locally owned and operated.
Casa Rod in Bryan still has good breakfast.
Jesse's or La Botana for breakfast tacos.

My personal favorite... the breakfast buffet at Mi Familia Coco Loco. La Familia on Barron and 6 has a great breakfast as well.

Glad you mentioned 3rd on Main. I don't see them get a lot of love on here. They don't open for breakfast on Fridays until 10:00 am which may be later than OP wants but it's a solid breakfast option in downtown Bryan.13B said:

Zeitmans in downtown Bryan is really good if you like bagel sandwiches.
Hullabaloo is really good for breakfast.

Tad's in South College Station has a very good brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The breakfast bowls and catfish breakfast are outstanding.

It's open Thursday and Friday nights and Saturday and Sunday from 9-2.
Had brunch there Sunday. It was great.

This is misinformation. We've eaten at HB semi-weekly over the last 3+ years, and their Thursday/Friday dinner hours and weekend brunch hours have been consistent since we moved here.
If you want a yummy Mexican breakfast, go to hidden restaurant in the gas station off Wellborn/rock prairie called Polly's. Been there for years and authentic. All locals know about it. Trust me.

If you're wanting something different than breakfast tacos, Blue Baker actually has a really good bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and it's usually pretty quiet and chill there in the mornings.
For something quick the tacos at the gas station at Barron and 6 are the best I have found!
