I hope that some people from the apartment complexes that the post office has decided to stop delivering mail to show up and ask them about that. It'd also be good if some of our elected officials (of any level: city, county, state, federal) would show up to that meeting and ask them about those complexes plus some of the other service issues we've had locally.

Making people register to go to the meeting instead of allowing walk-ins seems a little suspicious. It might just be an issue with the size of the selected meeting room, but it seems like they are trying to select who can show up, maybe to turn down anyone that won't be as enthusiastic as they want.

seems like a good opportunity to register and then deliver yourself to the meeting the next day just like the USPS does

I was behind a USPS truck yesterday that had the muffler dragging on the street. I assume the driver was unfortunately just used to it.

Pretty sure that's what happened. The event got stuck in Houston. Next stop is Dallas, then Lubbock, before the event gets thrown into a random cul-de-sac in North Zulch.

They rescheduled "after receiving more RSVPs than the venue can support."

KBTX shows the original date and time as today, Wednesday morning at 9 AM (not designed for a time when they thought people could generally come).

They are apparently only going to tell the people who signed up what the new date, time, and location are. Of course, if it's at a different time, that probably means different people are available, but hopefully some of the ones being screwed over (or at least some of our local and/or state or federal representatives) will still show up to grill them about things like discontinuing service to multiple apartment complexes.

Not sure if "informational town hall" means they'll take questions though or if they think they're just going to talk.

USPS Bryan promises an event and then fails to deliver. Very on brand.

Although I'm sure at least some of thier issues can be traced back to the swamp in D.C.
