Just got home after driving aound Bryan Midtown between 12:15 and 1am. Snow is sticking to any road going over a creeks or drainage pipe. Snow is begining to stick to Villa Maria betwwen 2818 and Texas and a bunch of the side roads

I drove around villa maria, texas, university, south college, carson and a few other streets

Wellborn. Roads are wet. I assume bridges might be iced.

Rock Prairie to Wellborn to George Bush to 2818 to University at 4:40. Everything until George Bush was completely a non issue. Starting at George Bush, it was noticeably snowier. 2818 was fine. University over 2818 and especially around Turkey Creek were slick.

It is clearly getting worse though.

Millican. Roads are covered. Slightly slick. Driving in 4hi at 40mph.

Roads were completely fine about 15 min ago - nothing else was falling.
I'd expect bridges and overpasses to be slick this morning but nothing major.
Most areas in town only got a light dusting

Definitely worse Navasota direction. I wouldn't go out in a 2wd and keep it slow.

Did some driving on 21 east and OSR this morning. No issues.

Very little traffic out this morning.

1179 looked snowy/icy (I don't think it got de-iced), but I didn't have any issues. Booneville/HWY 30 seemed good, other than the one car on its side that Rusty posted about.

Driving a full time 4wd Landcruiser, so take that for what it's worth.

Avoid bridges and overpasses, other than that, conditions are fine.
Remember no sudden braking on ice and turn in the direction of the skid.

Roads are good in South College Station. Lots of cars on rock prairie. Seems like the Dutch Bros and whata are open with plenty of cars in line

Looks like we dodged a bullet this time around. Enough snow to get a snow fix but roads seem pretty good. If we get some sunshine this afternoon to melt it and dry things up and don't have too bad of a refreeze overnight we'll be in good shape. On the other hand, KBTX is showing low of 18 tonight so unless everything really dries out this afternoon we're looking at slippery conditions in the morning.

Check on your neighbors. Bring those pets inside. Keep the water moving in pipes!

Zero issues driving , roads 100% fine just little damp

Roads won't be wet enough for any potential refreeze overnight .
Tomorrow will be zero driving issues as well.

This. I just walked to the front of our office and saw the sun shining and runoff across the parking lot. With today's above-freezing temps and sun, I expect everything to dry out, except maybe for some areas that get zero sun.

You would probably have to drive a couple hours to South Houston and even then no guarantee

KBTX closings/delays list is incomplete. City of Bryan offices are closed and BCSPLS libraries (Ringer, Mounce, and Carnegie are opening at 3 PM today).

Makes me wonder if Blinn also decided later than other places to either open late or be closed today and also got left off the list. (If they didn't get skipped, curious why they didn't delay/close when other schools did). I think their decisions about that kind of stuff are normally made in Brenham, and I haven't heard if Brenham got snow/sleet or not.

I felt bad for my kids, they wanted more snow. I was not sad on my drive in today that was danger free.

Friends in Houston posted much better snow than we got. You could tell last night that it was very wet and not "flaky". It wasn't sticking to anything.

City of Bryan was not closed today.
