Seems I should have posted my query more clearly.
Has anyone heard anything about more events this summer at Kyle like the concert and soccer game from last summer?
Last summer's events were unprecedented and had such a tremendously positive impact on TAMU's brand, local commerce and giving college station some long overdue clout and attention.

I have'nt heard of anything but it probably would have to be late June, July or August due to hotel space availability. It would be good for the community to have a couple a year....maybe help keep property taxes down a little?australopithecus robustus said:

Has anyone seen any estimate of any increase in sales tax and HOT taxes receipts to the COCS from the two 2024 events?
I really wish they would get Cross Canadian Ragweed.

It wasn't really a fiasco, it was always going to be a hard ticket to get. Small stadium for an incredibly high demand event.
I sat in the queue both days from when it opened. I moved a total of 4 blocks over the 2 days.
Their website was not built to handle the traffic, and it did not correctly keep your in order in the queue. I know people who logged in halfway through the day and got tickets quickly (with no cap on the amount you could get at times)- yet I never made it out of the queue after logging in when it opened.
If not a fiasco, I'm not sure what you would call it.
