Fiber 500 Internet
Up to 500/500 Mbps wired speed

We also have Frontier fiber 500. The price has gone up a few times over the past 3 years. Most recent bill was 69.99. I called their retention department, and they lowered our bill to 39.99 for the next year.

So what are the options other than Optimum for internet and TV if you live in the Histerical area and estimated cost/month?

I am paying $75 for 1000 mbps

I was in the AT&T store in Bryan. They told me that it is already in part of town. They took my email and will send me an email when available for me:

We signed up for Frontier when they came to our neighborhood. Their deal they had 4 years ago was $59.99 for life for 1G, so that's what I got. Signed up for DirecTV Stream for tv, because the wife loves certain cable programs, and I like Astros baseball, but we're still coming out way ahead of when we were paying $300 for cable and internet from suddenlyunlinked.

I tried it in Houston. Sucked big time.

Wi-Fi receiver was constantly rebooting for no reason whatsoever. Found lots of complaints about that exact issue all over the internet. With no solution by T-Mobile.

Ditched it after about two months

My mom is on Metronet and is going through the process of cancelling Optimum. The guy told her she won't be able to use her email when she cancels, so we'll see. She's had it for 30 years so she's worried about it. According to their accounts, she's been a customer for 55 years. So they think she opened up the account when she was 5.
