Anyone have a horticulture degree or know people who work for the TAMU plant pathology department?

I'm trying to solve a plant disease problem thats beyond the local knowledge base of plant nursery people (including Anne at farm patch...).

It involves tissue culture, laminar hoods, agar, petri dishes, etc... so not normal questions...

im just trying to figure out who to talk to..

Post pictures on his Facebook page and I bet you get an answer, even if it's just an "I don't know call _________ at Texas A&M"....

I studied horticulture and spent quite a bit of time in the tissue culture lab back in my college and grad school days.

If you're battling a disease with tissue culture, sounds like you're fighting virus and not bacteria/fungus.

What's the issue you're asking about?

Start with the Plant Disease Diagnostic Lab. Located on the far West side of Campus off of Research Park Drive.
I've used them to identify diseases killing plants. They are fee based.

im not getting any contamination from the air or the vessel... agar's been clear.. im getting a whitish exudate from the cut ends and it then takes over the vessel... been told by many that its bacteria but I dunno...

I've watched many videos and discussed my methods with many people who dont think im doing anything wrong...
