I really like Dr Damian at St Joseph.

Prior to that, I used Dr Barrow at BSW since college. Really liked him. Switched for personal reasons.

General thoughts on a doctor versus their PA's or NP's? We've found that the PA/NP is more accessible with a better bedside manner than whatever doctor is their supervisor so we've actually stopped looking for doctors per se. Right now I can't tell you who my "doctor" is but I know Mrs LOYAL AG and I both like Kelsey Campana who is an NP at Tower Point St Joe.

You need a better doctor.

The bedside manner of my primary care physician is excellent. If it wasn't, he probably wouldn't be my doctor.

My doctor before him was also excellent.

But a good PA is very helpful.

But why? If we're getting good service from the NP why change? I didn't say this initially but I've also found that doctors are harder to get in to see than their NP or PA. I guess the question I'm really trying to ask is whether it's really necessary to have a relationship with the actual doctor or not. Maybe that's a matter of preference.
