Received my '25 value up about 5%
If you go to the website, they don't have it posted yet but I looked up my whole street about 20 names and ALL of them had the owners mailing address as 2720 Normand cr
I called their office closed at 1 pm today for Good Friday

It's not just your street.

I live off Old Reliance and it shows that as my mailing address as well.

Flew around the county on the map and looks like you will soon get a truckload of them. ( Could not find
a property with out that address listed as the mailing address.

My assumption is the notice you will receive today like mine has the correct mailing address but how could everyone be changed in the system, they must have been hacked or something

I wish they would answer the phone, but it is Good Friday Eve and they are closed

While the Normand Cir address is listed online, my USPS Informed Delivery email shows my property tax appraisal letter scheduled for delivery today and properly addressed to my home address.

I have a Missouri City address for the mailing address as well for my house and so do my parents. Jason and Sally sure will be surprised when they get all of our tax bills in the mail!

I don't think it was nefarious. I'm sure something in the database coding got programmed incorrectly and is linking everything to that address.

got mine today. they actually lowered property value but since they were still behind because they could only raise a certain percentage the last 2 years, what they can tax on this year went up.

Up 11%

Edit: Up 11% from my early 2024 purchase price. Protested last year and got them to lower it ~3% to match my purchase price. Let's see how I can cook up a protest this year.

Mine has now gone up 47% since 2020. A fact they proudly told me on the bottom of the page.

I would encourage anyone who wants it to come offer me what BCAD says it's worth.

No need to work when you can just avoid grumpy calls and take a longer holiday since you just raised everyone's appraisal.

Got mine today and it's up 10% from 2024. It has gone up 10% a year since I bought the house in 2010.. Bought at $168000 and now tax appriased at $560,000 and have been offered $750,000 cash.

I randomly looked at three residential homes, one in Indian Lakes, one in a neighborhood near Boonville, and one in Emerald Forest. All three looked normal.

The individual pages seem to be generated from their database and aren't static pages anymore. My guess is it was just a glitch. If BCAD was hacked you would know it.

The one thing they also started in the last few years is to stop putting in the actual tax amount in the notice of appraised value.
The only reason to do that is to attempt to stop protests of values as people won't see the actual value and need to calculate it themselves.

That is infuriating! I calculated mine in excel last night based on the net change and it was very annoying to have to do it myself. For the mailed form AND the website to both omit the actual tax amount is criminal.

That's fine. We know it is an estimate. Put it on there with an Asterisk/caveat. "Based on last years tax rate here is what you would pay this year... this is subject to change".

The value of my dwelling went down, but the value of the land it sits on went up enough to make it a 3% increase. No complaints here, but we'll still see what Ownwell can do for us. We're one of those young families.

Submitted a homestead application a couple weeks ago but haven't received any feedback from that yet.
