I love how nutrition is always a cycle of meme diets. Used to be that oil was considered healthier than saturated fats.

My wife and I are doing the same. We have ordered some and made our own. I have read that Taco Casa uses lard, but I'm not 100% on that.

if it's any help to anyone on here, once i dropped seed oils my skin cleared up and i have not gotten sick once. it's been about 18 months. I am absolutely shredded too.

Go to pretty much any carneceria or super mercado. At or near the meat counter, you'll find a stack of clear quart tubs of freshly rendered lard. That's the stuff you want to use, not the stuff in the green and white box you find with the bottled oil.
