New HEB speed bump warning

Just in case other folks like to drive lower clearance vehicles for chores I need to share a warning about the new speed bumps near the curbside spots at the Towerpoint HEB. I took my 2023 corvette (stock, not lowered) as I usually do to get groceries and the nose cleared fine but it made a horrible noise and drug over the speed bump mid body. No major damage, just some cracked fiberglass under the side panel, but I will not cross that speed bump again unless I'm in the wife's Bronco.

First time I've ever had an issue in 25k miles like this. That bump is way too high.

Oh and I was going 5 mph at the time tops.

I smoked it around lunch today; never saw it. Tested the extension of my shocks on my truck. Just wasn't paying attention and it's not painted.

I was just at HEB. The first set of speed bumps as you enter the parking lot have numerous scrapes and scuffs from vehicles bottoming out on them.

I'm so glad the construction is finished but am disappointed that there is no plant section like at Jones Crossing.

At TP HEB now and they are currently working on the speed bump in front of the curbside.

Edited to add that they seem to be shaving it down lower? I'm sitting in curbside watching them.

Engineering has gone down the drain, literally. Over the last couple of days, the outside lane on Wellborn is deadly. This would be southbound in front of Dutch Bros Coffee. Last Friday, two cars hit it and had to wait for ye ol' tow truck.

It may not apply in that case but some have been known to bypass "slow and expensive" Engineering on things they think they can "design" themselves.

The speed hills are still too high.

On the positive side they got rid of the annoying brick pavers at the entrances

Lowe's needs to follow suit
