Traditions Club is offering several junior golf camps in June and July as well as PGA Junior League Golf (team golf). One of the camps is just for the Little Linksters - ages 4-6. All of the others are for ages 7 - 17.

With the addition of the Par 3 course, the kids are sure to have a blast.

Details can be found on the Traditions Club website or at this link:

There are some in the program that are just getting started with very little experience and others that are playing competitively in local events and even a couple that even play international events.

No experience (or equipment) is necessary. The camp will provide both

PGA Junior League Golf is a fantastic TEAM concept for the juniors that also requires no previous experience.

You can find out more about that here: PGA Junior League Golf
* The JLG Teams get to play matches at Traditions Club, Miramont and Pebble Creek.
* Traditions Club runs their program the entire year.

If you've got daughters I highly encourage you to have them give golf a try. There's a shortage of experienced golfers on the girls high school golf teams. Exposing your daughters early gives them a good chance at making varsity when they get to high school and they'll at least make the JV squad.

A lot of girls take up soccer, volleyball, basketball, and softball when they're younger but it's very competitive in high school and there' are only so many spots open when they get there and a lot of them don't make it. I know a few girls that played club volleyball their entire childhood who didn't make their high school teams to their extreme disappointment. They ended up taking up golf and making the high school team, but wishing they had taken up golf earlier.

Do you know if this camp will be offered in 2026? Would love to sign my daughters up. Thanks!

Our daughter plays at Pebble Creek in their Jr program, she turned 12 yesterday and this past weekend we competed in the STPGA championship at Horseshoe bay. Golf is more than a path to "Varsity" it's a lifelong game that humbles you. Teaches you honesty, patience, perseverance and determination. Day one it was 80 and warm, perfect conditions, day 2 it was 40, wind chills in the 20's with a 15-20 north wind. I asked my daughter if she wanted to withdraw (which is what I was hoping for) since the conditions had turned brutal. She looked me right in the eye and said "I came here to win this I want to play". So we tripled up our clothes and endured. That's what golf does for kids. She could have got in a warm truck and rode back to CS texting her friends and playing on her phone, instead she chose to play in brutal conditions. There are Jr programs at Pebble, Traditions and Miramont, they are all great.

Boat Shoes,

There will absolutely be several camps this summer. There is also an after school program that will start up in February and PGA Junior League Golf in the summer. Other than the cold months of winter, there is always an active junior program at Traditions Club.
