It was good. The waffle fries were okay.
I'm not going to go to LJS until there's enough oil buildup on the floors that I can't keep my feet together while standing in line. Then...and only then...will I know I'm home.

When did waffle fries at LJS become a thing ? I don't remember that being their fries in my youth….

I went yesterday and got the 1 fish 2 chicken combo.
Tasted the same as always and everything crunchy which is key for me. If the batter is soft than I'm not pleased with my order. What's funny about LJS for myself, is they are the one place where their chicken I can eat with out putting anything on it. It's the only place I get chicken strips or nuggets and do that one. Chic fil a nuggets are tasty but I still like to dip them. Not so much for LJS chicken strips. I love them better with nothing on them.

We used to smash the Grandy's breakfast buffet after football workouts in the summer (Abilene).
I went to the only remaining LJS in Waco a few weeks ago. I use the chicken as my batter delivery method. One chicken strip had about the same amount of chicken as 1/2 of a chicken McNugget. The second piece was about the size of a McNugget. The third was a little larger, but a far cry from what they used to be.
For $13 buck for the chicken, fries, and a horrible Pepsi product, I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon...and I love the batter.
