Dealt with Olshan twice. They told me I needed 20 piers at one property. Next company came out and said I needed none (problem was ground had swelled and pushed up slab cracking it so piers wouldn't fix problem).,
Second time with Olshan was for warranty work they didn't stand behind at mom's house. They were cheaper than other bid (small house that was being sold) so went with them. In middle of the project they said we needed more piers than originally estimated and wouldn't continue the job unless we agreed to pay.
Bottom line, hire an engineer to assess the problem and design a solution and then a foundation company (not Olshan) to follow the engineer's plan.

I used a company out of Houston called Du-West. I was very happy with their work and haven't had any issues since. It's been over a decade and still no foundation problems.
Brazos Valley Solutions just did ours. Pretty impressive resume for Walt, even if it is tu stuff.
Plus one for Anchor. Craig knows his stuff
Late to the party, but I'll echo with others have said. There really is no other reason to consider anything than Anchor. This is one trade that there really is one answer in Bryan College station.
Avoid Olshaun at all costs. Trust me on this.
There may not be time to do the job right, but there is always time to do the job over!!
Thanks for feedback and clear messages to stay away from Olshan. Anchor coming out Monday. Now need handyman recommendations...
