Have they been working on this any more? I don't remember seeing any activity since the road work was completed.

One of the managers at TowerPoint told me they had until 2028 to get it open. Not sure?

Obviously you know more than me! Manager told me it was on hold for a year…. But I hope that was bad info!

That location is going to be incredibly convenient if it doesn't horribly impact traffic flow.

Which it will. The intersection of Boonville & FM 1179 is already a disaster. Trying to add 1000 more cars per hour to that intersection will only make it worse.
I love HEB, but this is NOT wanted or needed.

Maybe not by you, but it's definitely wanted by our family and many others that I've talked to about it. We live on the East side of town and are looking forward to it opening.

1179 will be widened giving additional capacity to 1179 north. However, last I head the project was delayed a couple of years. But this should help that intersection in some regards

- Our family wants it.
- It will impact traffic flow, probably horribly so.
- The intersection of Boonville and the confluence of Briarcrest Drive with FM 1179 has been, is already, and will continue to be a disaster.

Any idea when HEB construction on Boonville will start?
I would assume whenever they finish the design phase it will come out for bid. Having built a few HEB's in my past life, I can safely assume they are still deciding layout/product placement/flow of the store/ SKU's to carry etc. HEB is very proactive in building stores that fit the intended clientele and area. No 2 HEBs are the same. WAG (wild *&^ guess) would be this summer before any construction of the main structure starts, completion early 27.
