More grown up but still lively. TVs for game watching. Food is a plus. Open to anything from upscale to sports bar to dive.

I've enjoyed Carney's and Four Downs during recent visits.

Staying off 2818, ~5 miles from Kyle Field so looking to stay West of George Bush.

Bush runs east to west, you mean North of Bush?

Pluckers, Twin Peaks, Angry Elephant, Wings & More University.

I'm sure I'm missing some I'm middle aged to getting long in the tooth to hang out at sports bars!

I was looking at true direction on a map so yeah, more Northwest. Around campus or towards Bryan from campus

Once the weather gets cooler, Carneys has a nice outside patio setup. Food is actually solid as well.

If you want wings, Anchor Bar is my fav now.

The Owl is great, but the last couple of times we dropped in, there was no place to sit.

Angry Elephant in Bryan lost me when they turned off an Aggie baseball game in the 7th inning to put on UFC and then tried to charge us a cover fee even though we had been there eating and drinking and watching Aggie baseball for almost 2 hours.

Vowed then and there to never go back.

Anchor Bar has been our go-to.

The Owl is great, but the last couple of times we dropped in, there was no place to sit.

I'm surprised. The patio usually has plenty of seating.
