I usually buy from Sam's, Costco or HEB but was curious if there's a better option to buy fresh salmon for grilling. TIA!

I haven't found better than HEB. Pro-tip: find out who the actual fish monger is (I know two at two of the stores) and ask them when the best quality ones come in. I pretty much now buy fish based on what these folks tell me is freshest.

$130 for 12 six ounce portions. We need to eat more fish so I think I'll try the combo box.

There is also this company which IIRC is Aggie owned. Anyone tried them?

94chem,
That, sir, was the greatest post in the history of TexAgs. I salute you. -- Dough

I have been buying fish from Fish Fixe for years. Always nice quality and I love the way they package their fish. 2 portions per package, vacuum sealed and then put in a brown paper resealable bag meant to hold the plastic packaging when you remove the fish. That way it reduces the smell in your trash. The packaging also has two simple preparation ideas for your fish. The company was started by two former student Aggie soccer players. One is Melissa Harrington, wife of Chris Harrington who is also involved in the business.
