From: Century Square Gameday Parking and Free Shuttle

Quote:

Game day parking available at Century Square with a free shuttle to Kyle Field!

Transportation for Century Square patrons will be provided between Century Square and Texas A&M University on home game days. The service will start three hours prior to kick-off through the game with the last drop-off at Century Square happening one and a half hours to two hours after the football game concludes. 2-3 shuttles will run continuous loops between Century Square & TAMU.

The shuttle picks up across from The George hotel located next to the garage and drops off near Duncan Hall, Lot 34 on Lewis St. From there, it is a 6-minute walk to Kyle Field through the beautiful Aggie Park.

GAME DAY PARKING RATES:

Garage Parking: FREE

Street (surface lot) Parking: 1 hour for $2.50 (+ taxes), 2 hours for $3.50 (+ taxes), and $22.35 for 3+ hours.

Valet Parking (located in front of the fountain and The George hotel): $10 for less than 3 hours OR $30 for 3+ hours.

Meters and QR signage are located throughout the property with easy-to-use instructions on-screen. All meters are card only. Credit cards process faster than debit.

Please take note of reserved parking signs as these parking spaces are strictly enforced. Vehicles illegally parked may be cited or towed.

I have used the shuttle before and its fine. They use large vans, so it can sometimes be a few times before you can get in one, so be prepared for that. I sometimes park, grab lunch/dinner and then just walk to Kyle from there rather than waiting for the shuttle. Its not too bad of a walk if they weather isn't too bad and it helps avoid sitting in traffic closer to Kyle and/or Northgate.

I recommend it to everyone! As someone who's parked miles deep into the historic district and walked to Kyle, finding out about this shuttle was the best news. Free and easy, and it's also just a super nice shuttle. The wait for it after the game can take a minute to get back, but I heard they added an extra shuttle this year to help with that. Also they're having free stuff on the shuttles.

It's 1.25 miles from the garage to Kyle Field. Seems like a pretty great deal to park for free there and take the shuttle. After the game, you can easily just walk and be back at your car in 20 minutes.

This is what I did and it worked great. I got thereabout 1:25hr before kickoff and parked on second level in garage. Basically it comes down to if can you walk 1.25+1.25 miles and is it not too hot.
I leave via South College towards Bryan so no traffic or lights.
