Maybe this is an Outdoors board question, maybe this board. No idea, but does anybody know why all the trees along 2818 have the construction orange fence around them? Impending construction? Something to do with environmental stuff? Noticed it a week or so ago. Just curious. I'm neither a city planner, nor an agriculture guy, so I can't even hazard a guess.

I'm guessing to mark them as protected/to be spared when whatever construction commences.

But what construction is supposed to be going on along there? Just haven't heard anything through the grapevine. Just wondering

TxDOT is building a shared use path from Jones Crossing (Waxwing) to Texas Ave. The orange fencing is to help established a protected zone around the trees, so they are not damaged.

So one that is like what is across the street? If so, no issue with that (not like it matters if I have an issue with it or not, lol)

Yes, just like the one on the other side.

Here is a handy interactive map in case you want to see what is going on around the city.
