Most of mine have been doing OK but today I noticed that something had a coneflower snack yesterday! All three plants were left with 1-2 leaves. Milkweed didn't make it and the Zexmenia also gave up the ghost. Sages and the wild bergamot are doing well, though!

Thats either a rabbit or deer. Dont know where you live

Deer are eating anything now because of no rain

My guess is rabbit, since I frequently see them nearby. I've only seen a deer once, though, and it was before as many houses were built.

I have the same issue with the Milkweed plants and the Zexmenia. I contacted Clint Wolfe with Rooted in and apparently the milkweed grower had a crop failure. He responded with these comments: "I would not give up on them just yet. They are extremely tough plants. Cut back any of the dead on the Zexmenia and give it some time. Please follow your maintenance guide regarding watering. Please remember they are small root balls, and they need to be kept moist until establishment. " I enclosed pics of the plants and he did offer a refund for the Milkweed and Zexmenia. I have cut those back, and they are on my watering schedule. I'm hoping that they are tough plants - and also for some rain! I have one plant with blooms already, and the rest look very happy in the flower bed.

We are out almost to Wellborn - have rabbits and deer. I haven't noticed any nibbles on the plants so far.

I have had rabbits in my garden for 12 years and yes they would eat a bellpepper or some kale but not really much else

And then this year cutting down the limbs of bell and jalepenoes and just eating them. Pissed me off so I put up wire around the peppers

Well them they ate a tall cucumber plant cut it at the bottom and then some of my pinto beans

Aint seen those three rabbits for three weeks now and I dont know why. Ha
