So, after listening to Councilwoman McIlhaney's interview on WTAW today, it seems that she is doubling down on the city's position that Bob Yancy did something wrong in posting the data center project to TexAgs 16 hours before it was posted to the city website.

I must say that I am disappointed. If I recall, one of the main reasons she ran was that the "status quo" was not working in College Station.
What exactly has changed since running? What has improved? It seems to me that the "status quo" led by the "CEO of the City" (her words) are just continuing with the "status quo" of keeping people in the dark. There is a huge difference between *legal* and *right* or *ethical*. What the city did with the NDA, and trying to push this project through would have had worse ramifications than Macy's in the long run. CoCS has a trust problem with the citizens. Wanting to double down on secrecy does nothing to help that.

The "status quo" is broken. Quit being a part of it, and change it.
