How in the world does Stasny keep running and winning for 35 years ? I'm not a term limit fan but how in the world does no one really challenge him, and frankly how does he have the hubris to run that many times ? He can't be that good or that smart.

More people are coming and if you don't keep up, the quality of teachers and schools will go down.

The city is growing, people are coming, interstate too, and the facilities need to be upgraded.

We love to play catch up here, just to save a buck
.

Except that doesn't save a buck. You spend fewer bucks by keeping up with needs as they arise.

I get that there are repairs needed, but Bryan just approved over $25k per student. I understand inflation and costs, but these seems like a lot.

I guess compared to the $44k per student that Lamar approved, it is modest.

My elementary school didn't even have air conditioning, so maybe I don't get it.

The fact that I had it worse is the exact reason that I want future generations to have it better. Thankfully generations before you believed the same, or you wouldn't have even had a roof over your head.
