BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Bryan Police and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) are on the scene of a major crash at Highway 6 and FM 2818.

The Southbound lanes of Highway 6 are closed, and traffic is being diverted to the feeder road.

According to police, an 18-wheeler with a dump trailer struck the bridge. Police add that emergency crews are expected to be on the scene for an extended period of time, assessing the damage.

A video shared with KBTX showed a blue dump trailer in the road, blocking the lanes.
