I just turned 70. I hope I'm alive to see this finished. And I hope they do a better job with this than they did on the OSR.

What a travesty that was.

Turning 70?

T&P for the travesty of turning 70.

Especially if that milestone bday celebration is held somewhere too far from the bypass, and at a place that's "kinda expensive for this town."

Rusty says the bypass will be closed for an hour Sunday morning at 5:30 between SW Parkway and 2818 exit.

There is a lot of good information on this site:
Project overview

The next 6 months is just laying new pavement to minimize disruption during the project.

The transition lanes are probably the most interesting part of the project though. The Barron exit will now be immediately after crossing 2818, which will lead to the transition lanes, which will travel unencumbered to the next exit to the access road between Graham and Bridle Gate.

Made the mistake of getting on 6 south while running an errand. Santa's Wonderland? Satan's Wonderland more like it.

Central Park and the parade had massive traffic on 6 heading south, north of SW Parkway.
