I called them and they don't do it anymore.
I know this isn't what you asked but the smoked turkeys at Readfields are as good as they get. If you can't get this done and are still looking for a smoked turkey.

Thanks for all who have responded, but I have a relative that is going to try it. Said he did it last year. At least we have a ham. If it turns out to be a bust, I'll go with some of the suggestions y'all have made. Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving!
