Blasting music, trucks doing burnouts in the parking lot, people waving signs at cars when they're driving down boonville, I'm not sure if they are throwing things or not.
I almost got hit in the Kroger parking lot by a truck flying through then about 10 seconds later by a car flying through. Not seeing any police yet.

I saw protesters around lunchtime holding signs but didn't see what it was about.

Edit: According to Rusty it's Rudder students who staged a walkout in protest of ICE

No, they should be punished the same way anyone else would be punished for skipping a few hours of school.

It's weird to me that we would send them to school to teach them about the Constitution and the bill of rights, and then punish them extra because we don't like how they used those rights.

And as I said, they should be punished the same as anyone else would have if they skipped school to go eat lunch or go shopping. They shouldn't get a harsher punishment just because they were protesting policies you support.

It's not out of the question the students were given permission to do this as a social studies project. Long shot I know, but it's possible. Maybe some of the teachers there can weigh in.

I am for citizens exercising their constitutional rights to peacefully protest. It doesn't matter if you agree or don't agree with them. It's their constitutional right to protest.

Skipping school or truancy is a separate issue. There should be consequences for that.

Not for illegal immigration at all. But as the father of a LEO officer, I do not support the tactics used by ICE. It pits my son and other legit LEO in danger. Do not conflate the two.
