I have attended the TEEX Cybersecurity Summit the past two years in San Marcos, and it has grown each year. This year it's coming home to Aggieland and will be held at the Hilton from Feb 3-5. For any locals, this is an opportunity to attend a really high quality conference without having to shell for travel and hotel. I haven't heard it in the local news so figured I'd give them a shout-out. Last year a couple of my friends told me they would have gone if they'd heard about it, so I promised then that I'd post about it this year.

If you're an IT professional or small business owner, there are a bunch of great sessions to learn more about Cybersecurity and what you should be doing to protect your business. This year the keynote is "Weaponized AI: Leading through the next generation of Cyber Threats". There's a list of all the sessions on the site below.

Hasn't been in the news. But, they are advertising the hell out of it on WTAW.
