This is my method
I assume you already know because you pulled them but always pull before a rain if theybhave been in the ground long enough

If possible I pull and leave in the sun for 3-4 days and them put on a shelf with a fan if possible to dry the stalks

Once the stalls are dry I still try to keep a fan for a month to cure

And yes like burnIt said my onions will last till October and when they start going bad they will sure smell up the garage

Here is some pictures. I pulled all my onions also yesterday and I will only be planting two rows not three like this year

I also started a new fertilizer treatment this year and they are the biggest Inhave ever grown

Already giving away tomatoes. This is shaping up to be the best spring/summer for tomatoes I can recall for many years.

We've had plenty of buds on our Cherokee purple but no fruit just yet. We had to plant it a little later than we'd like though. Cucumbers are doing really well. Strawberries hated all the rain we got. Probably need to work on the drainage in that planter but I have feeling we're going to do something else in it next year.

I've found peaches to be weirdly delicate in this area. After three tries i just stopped trying to grow them. I don't think they like large amounts of rain/water all at once?

Good luck.

Blackberry is about all I have success with. Interested to hear other answers.

I've had success with muscadine grapes, figs, and pomegranates with very low maintenance.

Citrus do well for me in pots (not in the ground!)

I've got some weird exotics in pots that are a mixed bag. The one doing best is a Surinam cherry that produces fruit that taste like cherry cough drops…not for everyone!

Stone fruitpeaches, plums etc have all failed for me.

If I was going to do peaches here I would do in a 4x4x1.5 raised planter.
