A friend emailed me (and probably a million others) asking me to vote for his firm in the Eagle's Readers Choice poll. Well I won't get into the utter sham this pay to play "contest" is, but, anyways I follow the link to go vote for him and maybe a few other companies I like, when, lo and behold this pops up-

I don't read the Eagle online, or for that matter ever visit their site, but have they always had the invade your privacy/sell your info turned all the way up to 11 or is this a new phenomenon?

I have Malwarebytes on our laptop and browser, and it blocks the entire ballot on The Eagle's website. So, I won't be voting.
