Looking for the best overall replacement for Los Nortenos. Especially interested in similar green enchiladas, migas and guac. Not as interested in the "warm salsa" as is mentioned in other recent threads.

Thanks for any tips.

I have never found a replacement in town for their migas. RIP

Coco Loco, on Texas, in Bryan (in front of Montel 6)

Coco Loco in Bryan is not good. Most bland food we've ever had at a Tex Mex place.

Or their queso and salsa combo from mid 90s.

It's been too long for me to remember Los Nortenos, but we like Dos Hermanos Marquez in Bryan. But they have warm (delicious) salsa. (speaking to their food - but I don't eat eggs so I can't speak to Migas)

Hermanos Marquez (previously Mi Pueblito) has the closest enchiladas and enchilada gravy. The migas are similar

I haven't found anyone who has the same salsa or queso.

I LOVED Los Nortenos, but after building a stainless steel table for their kitchen and delivering it, I saw some things that made me re-evaluate my lunch place. I've eaten in some dirty places too. The nostalgia of that place I miss, but it was hard to go back and eat there after that delivery.

It was that sweet crunch of roach wings mixed with the sweetness of mice droppings that made it taste so good.
