I would think the tickets will be easier to be found next weekend instead of this. All the high schoolers go to the 1st weekend, and the OU-texas game is next weekend...lots of folks heading up for that.

There are options in craigslist. I have two opps for 3-day passes near $200.

I asked my daughter that same question, she says it's just the level of excitement, everybody feels like they need to get there as soon as possible, which means first weekend. They're kids, they have no patience!

I have a weekend 2 - 3 day pass for $200 if anyone is interested. I won the pass at work today and already had plans to be at a wedding out of town. You can meet me at my house in South Austin or at my workplace of Barton Skyway.
