I have some family (5 people) coming into town this weekend and they want to go out on Lake Travis Saturday (7/18) afternoon. I am curious if there is anyone on this board that has a pontoon or wake boat and does charters in their spare time or maybe just wants to make some extra cash. I would really prefer not to pay $600 to rent a boat for just a few hours, but if that's the going rate, then I'd rather give the money to an Ag. I'm sure this request is a shot in the dark, but I figure it's worth a shot.

We do that occasionally when we have folks in town. I figured out quick for the times we get on the lake, it is more cost effective to rent rather than clean, store, and maintain a boat.

That said, we use Just for Fun boat rentals. Much cheaper than the price you were given. Now whether they have availability that day is another issue.
