Well, yeah. But what type of leak? this house went through the inspection process, which i personally looked up on the abc portal, and it passed a final plumbing and building.

In a gas supplied house, to pass the plumbing final, you must pass a pressure test on the gas lines to prove there are no leaks. I would presume this test was passed because they will definitely check it.

So, that means that at least to the shut off valves, this home should have passed a leak test. The appliances, especially the range, is where I'd narrow in.

That is the only information they gave. It was 15 seconds.

His recovery is going probably as well as it can right now. He was really lucky! So many people helping with the kids so they are good too.

I'm not sure why I never checked the Austin board after the explosion, I live in Cedar Park and felt/heard the explosion very strongly. It is really amazing that something with so much power it was heard as far away as Georgetown was also survivable by the husband who was at the home. Good personal updates from owners here on this thread. Hope he doesn't have too many lasting effects from his injuries.

I'm in RR by the Dell complex. My wife thought it was gunfire close by which at time of day is very unusual. Only J4 and NYE do we occasionally hear what could be a gun.

I didn't hear it but a life long Texan and used to storms lightning has to his within a hundred yards for me to notice.

My God. I just realized I worked on this house (Not the propane)
I've worked with these builders for 25 years and they are outstanding people, a small custom outfit.
I met the owners.... a tragedy all the way around. I'm in absolute shock.
