Any recommendations of a doctor to go to for PCP?

I've been with Wiseman Family Practice for two decades, but it's just a 'Doc n the Box' now. The only way you see the Doctor, is if you pay for his concierge service. Hard to get seen, and it's typically just a nurse (sometimes a PA).

Would love to get with a doctor who knows me and the family.

I used flint Deshazo at family med associates in round rock on Wyoming springs until he retired earlier this year. His replacement Dr. Tsai has been awesome!

I've been going to Carson Higgs with ARC at Quarry Lake in Northwest Austin for a few years and like him. He's an Aggie (which was a nice bonus, but not a significant consideration for me) and is very laid back and not a pill-pusher (which was a primary consideration). The only downside is that you have to schedule your annual physical months in advance because ARC limits the number of appointments available for routine checkups. I've never had to visit him for anything other than a physical, but I think it's much easier to get an appointment for other needs.

Another vote for Dr. Higgs! Especially if he's taking new patients.
