Our longtime PCP out of Houston just announced he is going to a full-time concierge practice, so we are in search of somebody closer to where we live now who will take my wife's state employee BCBS coverage. What we valued about Dr Finnila was his willingness to take his time to talk out issues and use testing to figure out problems without just pulling out his Rx pad or letting some PA do all the work and never actually seeing the PCP. Anybody know a good doc in the Austin or Bastrop areas with similar qualities that they would recommend?
