My bride and I are going to Eric Church on Friday at Dickies. Anyone have any dinner recs and/or parking suggestions? Our daughter has a cheer comp early Saturday morning so we'd prefer not sit in the garage for eons waiting to get out.

There's a garage across camp bowie at UNT health science center that is normally open but I'm not 100% sure if they clamp down on that during concerts or anything. It's a few minutes to walk to the arena from there but you will not face traffic when you leave. As far as food goes, Lucile's is a couple of minutes away and pretty good, Winslow's Wine Cafe, Taco Heads across from the arena, although I mainly like their breakfast tacos, which are available all day. Their other tacos are just OK IMO. If you go over to University south of I-30 there are tons of restaurants right there, HG Sply and Maria's are both good. Several other options depending on what kind of food you want.

Tacoheads is your easiest option, but also keep in mind it's the only truly walkable place around Dickies Arena so it's also where everyone else goes... and the service can be a little on the lazy side so give yourself ample time.

As for parking -- often times the stores across Montgomery do paid parking (camera shop I believe) and we've found that for basically the price of the garage you can get in and out very quickly.

There is a ton of stuff in the west 7th development that's probably a 5 minute Uber from the arena. You're also only about 10 from downtown.

Basically the world is your oyster. Pick what you like.

as aggiewes said there's a ton of restaurants within a short uber drive. The only walking distance restaurant I can think of are taco heads or Montgomery cafe. Short uber drive restaurants: Eddie V's ($$$), Railhead bbq(its not heim), flying fish, Saint. Emilion, Paris 7th, Rodeo Goat, Woodshed, Piola, Kincaids (the original)... there's a lot to choose from

Montgomery Cafe doesn't do dinner.

You wouldn't think so, but the QuikWay Convenience store right across the street from Dickies has the best burgers in Ft. Worth

I don't know how late the grill is open because we always hit it for lunch on Saturday.

Born & raised in fw and never been to quickway. I've heard great things about it. Need to go.

Eddy V's is within walking distance. Great steak house

The Original Mexican Eats is not far from Dickies. Winslows would be a great date night vibe. Michael's and Piola are just north of the HSC building off 7th and might fit your mood. You should be able to get parking in the Dickies lots or the garage.

Quickway is awesome. Can't tell from the outside though.

Michael's, railhead, flying fish are real close. The Original isn't good. Look further if you want tex-mex.

We live only a couple of blocks away from the Original Mexican Eats Cafe, it isn't the best mexican food ive ever had, but its decent and moreso just a close walk for a marg from the house. We LOVE Winslows. Guy who owns it was a student manager on one of the Ken Hatfield coached Arkansas teams and weve had some fun back and forth.

There's is no place for fourth rung Mexican food in Fort Worth like The Original and Caros.
