Collin County initiated a burn ban a few days ago but the following link indicates it is only for unincorporated areas.
https://www.collincountytx.gov/fire_marshal/Pages/burn.aspx

My wife sent me the following that indicates it applies for city of Plano and a comment from Plano Fire Rescue that indicates it even covers gas grills:

/edit - I don't know how to link to specific post...it's the fourth one down on the page...

I find it hard to believe a city can prohibit use of gas grills on private property.

This link indicates the city of McKinney is prohibiting 'recreation fires' but that the burn ban does not apply to residential grills/smokers:

Any thoughts?

I know fully automatics have been banned for quite some time, but I won't let that stop me from using my Traeger.
