Al Biernat's. Great people watching.

For Saturday. I've actually been to Knife before, so I'll pass on that -- looking for something new.
Also, Bob's looks nice but I see it's a chain. Should I just not care?
Al Biernat's on Oaklawn has tables open from 6:00-9:00 every 30 minutes on both Friday and Saturday...and so does the one in North Dallas, it just has less people watching.Aggie09! said:
Ugh, I'm up against it. They didn't have any good seating times at Al Biernat's or Town Hearth. On wait lists right now, but still looking.

Finally found a reasonable time at Al Biernat's on Oaklawn. Appreciate the help everyone. Looking forward to it.
Agreed. The Chilean Sea Bass is the BEST! Was there early July and watching the older, rich crowd was worth the price of the meal. Rolls Royce pulls in and the valet staff swarmed the car to help the regulars get out.Red Pear DFW Luke said:ChoppinDs40 said:

This and it's not even close. Go to the one in Highland park. Get you a nice bottle of wine and just watch. The foods pretty good. Can't go wrong with the steaks and stuff but my fave is the Chilean sea bass.
Town Hearth isn't so bad either. But Al Biernats is *chefs kiss*
