Crazy chase over 635 and residential areas. Nobody got hurt, then the guy finally stops, gets out, and runs for at least a half mile I think. Unsure, but the guy may have lost the police and the helicopters.

To me it looked like he came to a stop under a tree and gave up. He was getting pretty winded at the end. I assumed the one cop that approached him with the taser ended up pulling the trigger on it.

Yeah seemed like they got him under the tree.

I think the move would be to run into a mall, change clothes in a department store, and run out and call an Uber home.

I thought it was gonna go longer when he dodged all the police cars in the apartment complex and avoided the spike strip (although the cop completely botched throwing it out)

Yeah. It was a terrible toss. That guy should be made fun of tomorrow in the debrief.

Unless you are in a car with absolutely no ties to you, this won't change the outcome. License plates and vin numbers will mean a knock on the door, not to mention whatever credit card paid for an Uber in the area at that time. Then video footage of you in the mall will seal it.

Maybe if you were in a maroon hoodie, stole a car and had cops chase you, drove to A&M about 30 minutes before kickoff, ditched the car, threw off the hoodie with another maroon shirt underneath, and sprinted/mixed in with the mass of other people in maroon shirts, you could have a chance. Barring any DNA you left in the stolen car or on the hoody that will more than likely be found.

You would never make it through traffic to get to Kyle Field.

If coming from the north, 2818 to villa maria , to wellborn, plowing through red lights the whole way, throw it in park and hop out near the mass of tailgating next to west campus garage, bob and weave through the tailgating area, get to the tunnel surrounded by 500 other people in maroon, squeeze past a few, throw off the hoodie, take the stairs up to Lot A. Heck, if you are pretty sure you lost them at that point, and have a ticket, go watch the game and pretend nothing happened. You may need to wander out of view of cameras as they are still everywhere.

Again, not foolproof, but when 100,000+ people all in the same color are crowded around a central location, makes it a game of Where's Waldo.

Another idea. If you know you're doing something and likely to get chased by the cops, find a bunch of friends with the same vehicle. In Texas, a white F150 should work. Imagine cops chasing a white F150 down the interstate (3 lanes wide). All the sudden there are two lines of 40 identical F150s in the far right and far left lane, leaving the middle lane open. As soon as the chased car breaches between the lines, people from both lanes start getting over to the middle. Everyone keeps changing lanes back and forth. Even a helo following would have trouble figuring out who is who. The large group of F150s then all exit and start turning two or three at a time onto streets off the exit ramp. Then the 2-3 that turned, each turn again on separate streets. Unless there are 50 cops following that can pull over each one, you've got a shot.
