Looking for a recommendation on a good local bank / credit union. I'd like to establish a more personal banking relationship than my current large bank footprint.

Access to more favorable products and rates. Loans, line of credit, business financing.

We just went through this and ended up with first financial bank (not to be confused with first bank) after 20 years at BofA.

I've been happy so far, but I don't use the bank for much other than a place to store and move money around. They offer all of what you're after though.

I use Worthington for my business and Pinnacle for our house account. They are pretty much comparable but Worthington is close to my work area while Pinnacle is down the street from the house.

Larger accounts that i don't touch often are with Chase.

Frost in Fort Worth is basically the old Overton Bank and Trust, which was fantastic. I'd go with them or PlainsCapital.

Pinnacle Bank seems to be a smaller, friendlier version of banking. I've been happy there since 2014 or so.

I wonder this more and more each year. The only times I use a physical bank is when I need a cashier's check. that's once every few years. Outside of that, 99% of the bank interaction is via the app, and the 1% of the time I pull cash out at an ATM.
