The food is OK, but that is about the best I will give it, most go for the atmosphere

I usually go in August cause - crowds.

The food is average at best. There are so many great mom and pop Mexican joints in Arlington, it's a shame to waste money at this place.

Clue me in, where are they? I haven't found a truly great mexican restaurant since Herrera's on Sylvan closed...

So as with all Mexican, it depends on what you're looking for.

I LOVE 2 Compas. It is cheap, quick great Mexican food. It has zero ambiance and is off of a convenience store.

Another place with no ambiance whatsoever but great food is Los Magueyitos.

Los Pastores and Papaya Mexican Grill are great as well.

The trick with Mexican - if you want great ambiance, gentle lighting and lovely dcor - well, the mom and pop places in Arlington may not be for you.
