Pete's cool. Does he dive into the weather word salad bowl on occasion? Yep but doesn't bother me. I do miss his banters with Hansen.

This has been over 10 years go but he coached a baseball team(9-10u?) in the league I helped administer. I liked his post game chats with the team because they typically included some type of weather forecast.

Delkus played all the way up to AAA level - that's some pretty serious baseballing.

Yep. I was going to mention that as we talked about his experience a few times but trying to keep the name dropping experiences to a minimum. Deion had a son in that same age group that played in tournaments. Lord, that kid was fast and a tremendous athlete from what I saw. Deion was cool. He sat down the outfield line and watched quietly.

That must have been a pretty high power league. My son's tournament team was really good (all star team our of Mansfield / South Arlington), but when they'd run into a team with former pros as coaches and pro's kids playing - well, it was a rough day.

Ran into Pudge Rodriguez's kid's team one time and suddenly learned you just don't even try to steal second.

Bring back Christine Kahanik or Troy Duncan
