My fiance and I are looking for a place to stay this summer in Dallas for our internships. She will be working with Texas Instruments in Richardson and I will be working on a project with Holder Construction. We are open to considering anywhere in the Dallas area and are hoping to find a furnished garage apartment or suggestions on apartment complexes that offer short-term leases. We don't have exact start and end dates yet but likely the first week of June through mid-August. Any help would be appreciated!

Look at the apartment complexes around UT-Dallas. Lots of them have summer only leases and/or people who signed a year long lease in August who want to sub-lease. When my kids were at UT-Dallas. they sub-leased during the summer and came home.

Good advice above about looking around UT-Dallas. Also, you could look around SMU area for summer subleases from students going home for the summer.

Don Knoebler Associates used to have a lot of inventory for garage apts etc. My friend used them and they found a garage apt at an historic mansion overlooking white rock lake.
