The only ticket I received for speeding in Dallas, and yea knock on wood, was on my own street. Prior house I lived in was inside the school zone and I didn't really think about it. Think it was 7:05 and it came on at 7. Clocked going 28 in a 20.

Cop gave me attitude as well.

Well…. You we're going 140% of the posted speed limit. That's equivalent to driving 105 on the interstate.

No doubt. I was for sure guilty of speeding. The cop didn't like the comment when I asked if he clocked me on my street or my driveway.

Who gave who attitude?

Since when is changing lanes in the middle of an intersection considered legal?

I am fairly certain it was classified as an
illegal manuver in driver's ed (circa 1982).

Drivers here are masters of that screwed up move.

It would help commuting immensely if Collin county somehow used technology to time signal lights properly.

There is no reason why it takes 45 min+ to get from N. Plano to SE Plano at rush hour without having a take tolled road.

Another thing... I encounter this at least once every 3 or 4 weeks: have a green left turn arrow... a car opposite just drives through the intersection, straight. If I don't wait I will get a crushed-in right front.

It is obvious these violators are not paying attention to their red light, but are looking at a left green arrow that is in no way meant for them.

Stop texting &/or learn the rules if the road... please.

Feel like people are making up for a year+ of not driving as much, maybe?

A lot of the major intersections in Plano are significantly over capacity. The road network was originally planned with the assumptions a lot would be be converted to overpasses; however, the NIMBY crowd and commercial property owners have raised hell every time one was proposed within the right of way originally meant for them. Even though they had right of way to build them, starting in the mid to late 90s the City has slowly abandoned the plans for them.

Examples:
Preston under Plano Pkwy.
Preston over Park
Spring Creek over Preston
Preston over Legacy
Spring Creek over Coit
Spring Creek over Independence

It's because of all the idiots who have moved here from out of state.
The influx of out of state license plates makes me want to move.

I did. That said, it was one of those comments when it came out I was thinking shouldn't have said that. But once it's out just own it as I was actually curious.

It was a mutual parting of ways
