I typically follow NBC weather and yes they predicted severe weather (none so far) but were clear the majority of rain would be Fri-first half of Sat. I've gotten 0.46" so far and no hail so I ain't complaining...

I'm all for advanced warning and having better data, but I think the seriousness of a TOR Warning has gone down significantly for people. Opinion: NWS needs different terms. You have to click within the warning to see if it is radar indicated, observed, PDS, emergency.

Yeah I have no idea what to do with our crews today. I worked them yesterday, but today they predict consistent rain. However, there's not very much on the radar right now.

My only complaint about this is that we are hosting several people at the house that are going to music festival that was supposed to be today and tomorrow. They've now rescheduled today for Sunday so those people are staying even longer. They're our friends, but hosting/entertaining people for 5 days instead of 3 can be exhausting

Allergies have been off the charts these past couple of weeks for me. Not sure if it's because things bloomed differently this spring with the weather, or because I'm in a different house/neighborhood with a bunch of different species of trees that I'm not used to.

This wind certainly isn't helping.

Yeah, i had a booth at an art festival this weekend in mckinney. Spent half the day holding onto the canopy frame, hoping it wouldn't blow away. And the pollen covered my display cases like dust out of west texas.

The rest of this week's weather is going to suck. High winds and then rain all weekend. First three day weekend I've had all year and wanted to spend the majority of it outside with projects and riding the motorcycle.

Now I guess I'll catch up on interior honey-do's instead....

Friday i am going to lay some sod so that is the ONLY positive....definitely annoyed that this is going to be a wash-out Easter weekend...

Don't get too excited. Last time all the forecasts showed 3-6" over 3 days and we wound up getting 2" over a 4 hour window.

Doing the Caldwell Czech Easter with the in laws. Leaving the dog out with my dad and or sister checking on his water and food a couple times a day. Thinking I may need to leave a key to crate him now (though we have a giant covered back porch)
