Howdy! I graduated this past May with a Mechanical Engineering degree and will be starting work at Bell Helicopter in the middle of July in Arlington. Are there any recent graduates interested in a roommate/does anyone know of any recent graduates looking for a roommate starting around the same time in that area? If you do, please shoot me a private message and I will reach out. Thanks and gig 'em!

Additionally, if anyone has any living suggestions in the vicinity of northwest Arlington/Hurst, let me know!

I work at Bell.
Don't live in H-E-B at your age.
When I moved here I lived in the Cypress Waters area (Coppell). Lots of great apartments, walkable, tons of people your age. Commute to Plant 1 was less than a half hour.
Other recommendations would be find something near downtown FW and take the train to work (assuming you're at the Hurst office and not one of the Satellite Offices). You can get a stipend from Bell to help offset the cost of the train pass.
My wife used to live in an apartment in the Toyota Music Factory/Las Colinas vicinity. Also a lot of young people over there with lots to do and walkable. Also a reasonable commute.
Grapevine is also nice with some good apartment complexes around it, but more expensive than the previous options. It would be about 20 mins to Plant 1.
Lastly you could look at Uptown Dallas/Design District but your commute won't be great.

Shoot me a PM if you want to chat more or need a friendly face when you get up here!

My wife and I have lived in both the Cypress Waters and Las Colinas areas in the past 3 years. Both are great. Plenty to do nearby and not a bad commute to HEB. Also relatively easy to get around the metroplex and either airport. Would definitely recommend.

Agree, avoid the area around HQ.

It's just not a nice area.

Ft Worth, Dallas, or Grapevine so you can ride the train in as others have said and not have to drive far for fun stuff to do on the weekends. Obviously this assumes your office is next to or near a stop.
